I have been wanting to get some studio samples of these Acrylic photo blocks for too long now, and finally I have some in my hot little hands.
They are superior quality and definitely not your average run of the mill photo blocks.
The manufacturing process is one thing that really stood out to me as a must to be mentioned. Firstly, your chosen image is printed onto archival grade paper, (only the best for you), then adhered to a thick acrylic block using acid-free, ultra clear double sided mounting film. What makes these acrylic blocks even more superior to any others on the market is that only UV stabalised acrylic is used, which guarantees it to never yellow or crack. Great right!
But wait there's more, rather than using high intensive flame polishing to get that super glossy finish to them (like many cheaper competitors), each block goes through a labour intensive buffing process which does not introduce heat stress. If a solvent based cleaner were to be ever used on a block that has endured heat stress, it would cause micro cracks (pictured above) in the block and appear as though shattered and indefinitely ruined.
There are many size options for you to choose from, 4x4", 4x6", 5x7", 7x14" panoramic, 8x12" and 12x12". Which allows you the option of ordering one on it's own or creating a personalised collection with multiple sizes to display.
These photo blocks are perfect for shelves, bookcases, bed side tables, coffee tables, desks, to give as a gift or personalise your work area and no hanging required. You simply unpack your order and place where you wish. Simple as that!
Another option for your acrylic photo blocks is to display them in a specifically designed acrylic frame/grid which is completely versatile and innovative. They come in either a single row of 3 square blocks, 2 rows of 2 (4 blocks), or 3 rows of 3 (9 blocks). You can choose from combinations of black and white acrylic for the frame, and it can be easily wall mounted or my personal favourite is to display it on any surface on a cute timber easel.
The acrylic blocks in the photo grid can be easily swapped and changed over time, as they are held in with magnets. The good thing about that is that this allows you the freedom to update the images as you desire when the children grow or new additions are added to you family. ;) Even add to it over time with each new session and use it to see the changes over the years.
I think I have made my point, that I'm a huge fan, but you should see for yourself.
Til next time, Bec.
