I am finding so much more joy in photographing children with their families than I ever imagined. My direction as a photographer is changing slightly in that I am seeking more family sessions now, more than ever before. My goal was always to specialise in newborn photography, and while I still do love that and find it rewarding my heart is lying with capturing the family as a whole.
The joy in the parents faces, the expressions of the littlies, I feel so honoured to be able to capture that moment in time to remember for years to come.
You never really know where life may take you and it's nice to be able to look back sometimes, to see how much they've grown or remember a loved one. Families as a whole, especially with multiple generations are so special and make the most heart warming portraits.
From new additions to large family portraits, they each have their own unique story and I love capturing that. Freezing that moment in time to be remembered forever. Babies don't stay little for long, and as a parent it's great to be able to look back with fondness at a special time in your life.
Family is really the thing I value most in my life so I feel it's my duty to provide a service to others who share the same values in life. While I always busy capturing these memories for others I needed to schedule some time in to capture something special, that means the world to me personally this father's day just gone...... my dad, my husband and my three children. This one's going on my wall in a large print.
